New Bob Dylan exhibition in Denmark

Interest continues to grow in the art of Bob Dylan with the announcement of a new exhibition of his work in Denmark next year . Dylan has always painted but he has never promoted his art to this extent. He painted the cover of one of his albums , Self Portrait . Nearly 100 pieces, will include some works that have never been seen before, including 30 large-format acrylic paintings

Jack Vettriano reveals new paintings

Jack Vettriano seems to have been inspired by the Riviera in France . He has announced a new set of 10 paintings based on the Clyde-built Tuiga – the flagship of the Yacht Club of Monaco .”Most people are stuck at the end of Berwick Pier doing landscapes and so to get invited to be involved with the Tuiga centenary was just lovely. Sometimes I just have to pinch myself and ask, ‘Is this really going on? Am I really here?’ . The paintings include The Masthead , Sunshine and Champagne, Mystery Man, Ship of Dreams and Below Deck.

New Jack Vettriano self-portrait for St Jude's Infirmary

Two of Scotland’s heavyweight artists have teamed up to help new band St Jude’s Infirmary with their new album . Ian Rankin and Jack Vettriano have made contributions with Rankin penning lyrics and recording tracks and Vettriano creating a self-portrait for its latest album, released this weekend
St Jude’s Infirmary will showcase This Has Been The Death of Us on Saturday, also unveiling its unique artwork – created by Vettriano
