Bob Dylan show premieres in the Borders
A little know gallery in the Borders will host the world premiere of rock icon Bob Dylan‘s first ever set of limited editions . breeze gallery in Peebles will open this unique exhibition this week . Dylan has sold over 110 million albums since he burst on the music scene in the 60s.
The Drawn Blank Series will be unveiled on 14th June for the first time. The Drawn Blank Series will cast a vibrant new light on the creativity of one of the world’s most important and influential cultural figures. More art news
Limited to editions of only 295 worldwide, these stunning graphics are set to take the art world by storm on release and breeze gallery owner Bob Corsie has pulled off something of a coup for his small emerging gallery in the Scottish border town. Based on drawings and sketches made by Dylan while on the road from 1989 to 1992, the watercolour and gouache paintings in The Drawn Blank Series were created during 2007 and visually echo the stylistic hallmarks of Dylan’s prose, poetry and music.
